KIA K5 (or KIA Optima) is a mid-size car line of the Korean car manufacturer KIA Motor, launched in 2000, currently in its 5th generation, introduced in July/ 2020.


On October 9, 2021, THACO officially introduced the new generation KIA K5 in the Vietnamese market. Changing the name of Optima to K5 is part of KIA's plan to synchronize the product chain names in all markets.


KIA K5 2023 is assembled in Vietnam, distributed with 3 versions and 06 exterior paint colors: Pearl White, Black, Silver, Red, Gray and Blue.

Entering the new generation, KIA K5 2023 possesses a sporty, dynamic appearance with sharper, more eye-catching lines.


The front of the car is still the brand's signature tiger nose grille, but it is expanded on both sides and refined to create a more fierce look. Headlights use modern LED technology, especially the highest version is equipped with LED Projector headlights.

The amber LED daytime light strip, shaped like a thin L shape, curves around the entire headlight cluster, becoming a highlight that adds attraction to the new KIA K5's facade area. The air vents and front bumper have also been refined, emphasizing the sporty beauty and increasing the vehicle's aerodynamics.


The body of the KIA K5 2023 exudes a healthy, strong beauty with the appearance of embossed ribs. Youthful, sporty set of 18-inch 2-color multi-spoke wheels. The exterior rearview mirror is the same color as the vehicle's body, with electric adjustment, automatic folding, and integrated turn signals.


The rear of the car has LED lights connected together to create an impressive highlight. A pair of trapezoidal dual exhaust pipes on both sides, connected by a shiny chrome border, combined with a sporty rear bumper help complete the aesthetics of the new K5 exterior area.

The KIA K5 2023 cabin is more spacious, comfortable and convenient than its predecessor. The interior on the top version is covered in GT-Line style red leather, the lower versions are equipped with basic black.




3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, flat bottom, sporty D-cut style, integrated gear shift lever and information adjustment keys. Behind that is a 12.3-inch electronic clock cluster, displaying information on the HUD windshield, push-button start and remote start. The 10.25-inch entertainment screen, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, becomes the highlight in the center of the dashboard area.




All seats on the KIA K5 are covered in leather and have heating features. Particularly, the front seats have additional cooling features, electric driver's seat, and memory position. The rear seats are guaranteed privacy and comfort with sunshades and separate air conditioning vents.
