In the Vietnamese market, OMODA and JAECOO will introduce 3 car models this year and a sedan model this year. Specifically, three car models that will definitely be available in Vietnam are the OMODA 5 and the OMODA C5 EV electric car.
In addition, there is also the appearance of the JAECOO 7 mid-sized SUV model and depending on the market, there will be an additional AWD drive system option.
The Chinese automaker said the name Omoda is of Latin origin, with “O” meaning “all new” and “moda” referring to a fashion trend. Chery Omoda 5 is the first mid-sized SUV model after the Chery 4.0 product revolution, expected to officially go on sale in 2024.
Chery Omoda 5 has overall dimensions length x width x height of 4,400 x 1,830 x 1,585 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,630mm. The overall appearance of the car is applied according to the new "Art in Motion" design language of the Chinese brand with outstanding details such as: large borderless grille, extremely thin LED daytime running lights connected connected by a chrome bar and a two-level front light cluster with matrix LED headlights.
The car body feels dynamic and energetic with a sloping roof design. The embossed lines on the car doors connected to the muscular wheel arches further enhance the SUV's strong appearance.
